***CHRISTINA WROTE THIS:
Wow, my first blog..isn't this exciting? Technically, I'm at work and should..you know..work or something. But, that's neither here nor there. Anyways, the show at The Backroom was a serious blast. I'll have to admit that I was a bit nervous 'cause Maggie and Sarah were in Europe for so long, but everything worked out as it should. Met some awesome people and even had some friends show up from Dallas (Thanks little one!). Otto the bartender was beer man with a plan for the night..and Dustin (Riddlin Kids) had someone to laugh at his jokes (that would be me). Overall, it was sweet yo. Capt. Bringdown and the Buzzkillers were chizznillin' with the Old Skool Ska/Punk (my personal fav style) and Air Tight Alibi pulled off a sweet acoustic set. Backlit revolver closed the night and I have to say I couldn't stop staring at the BadAss Silver Sparkle Ernie Ball Bass they had. To quote Maggie, who's eyes were somewhere else ( I won't say where, ) "Capital H-O-double T, HOTT!" HA, HA, HA! I'll probably get a kick in the ass for that. It's seriously pouring here in Dallas, but that won't dampen my spirits for our show on Wed. at 710. I'm so psyched. We've been working on some new songs and hopefully we can kick one out at the show. I've starting buggin' Maggie and Sarah to teach me the ways of knitting, but Christina+Arts and Crafts = Gimp. When they actually sit down and teach me...who knows what'll happen. The Bat Phone is ringing..so it's back to work...Rawk on Yo

Maggie and I have just returned from England..no, we weren't playing, just a vacation. We had a great time and I wasn't quite ready to come home...although the nice weather in Austin made it alittle easier. Now that we're back, it's time to start working and playing again. We've got a few shows coming up this month(check the shows page for more info), some SDS mesh caps on the way, tours in the works and blogs to be updated more than once a month!
