wow...it's been an amazingly long time since i've written anything on this blog. i'm surprised it hasn't been deleted or something. people have probably forgotten it's here...and no one will even read this. regardless, i think i'll write something anyway.
last night was our first show in austin since august. it was the debut of our new bass player christina, and it was tons of fun. we ended up playing first, which i was afraid might suck, but it ended up working out just fine. Maggie and I were both sick....stuffy noses, recovering from the flu...but i don't think it affected things too much. i had a tissue in my pocket just in case, but i didn't have to use it. anyway, we ended up playing a pretty short set...only 7 songs. it sounded really good on the stage, and from what i've been told it sounded good out in the crowd. the best part of the show was when i looked over and saw my friend Meridith and all the people she'd brought rockin' out and singing along. it's always nice when people do more than just stand and stare with their arms crossed over their chests.
winter is here, so we sold quite a few beanies...guess i'll have to start knitting again!! our stockpile from last season is quickly dwindling. tonight we play dallas....hope it rocks!
